Summer- the season of celebration, fun, and of course weddings! One of the most celebrated holidays of the summer season is 4th of July, and what better way to celebrate 4th of July weekend than with an out of state wedding?! A beautiful traditional church ceremony, stunning banquet reception, and breathtaking sunset shoot, this out of state Oregon wedding was the perfect celebration of Andre and Katie’s journey into marriage!

Like most weddings, filming began early in the morning as the bride and groom got ready for the best day of their lives. One common trend we are seeing more of is couples renting out Airbnbs to get ready in- an amazing option for a bride and groom looking to have a more open, bright space to prepare in compared to smaller, darker hotel rooms. This Airbnb featured a beautiful, open backyard perfect for capturing detail shots, dress shots, and the bride and groom first look!

The creative shoot took place at the gorgeous Monet Vineyards, a stunning private estate located in Southwest Washington state nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. With absolutely stunning florals and vine-covered walls, this estate provided an incredible backdrop for our creative session.

The bride and groom opted for a traditional church wedding ceremony with a beautifully covered arch filled with vines and greenery. Surrounded by all those nearest and dearest, Andre and Katie shared their I dos and officially became husband and wife. Conveniently, the reception took place in the banquet hall of the church making for a smooth transition in transferring/ setting up gear for the next portion of the wedding. Filled with games, songs, and speeches from loved ones, the reception was perfect celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Nyky.

The day ended with a breathtaking sunset shoot at Powell Butte Nature Park. With many stunning corners and a beautiful golden hour backdrop, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Wrapping up with a sparkler exit, the bridal party ushered the newlyweds into married life.
