Through corona virus and wildfires, these two childhood best friends said yes to their forever surrounded by stunning forest views. While many engaged couples postponed their wedding day, Emmanuel and Isabella replanned their wedding to a beautifully intimate forest wedding in the stunning location of Foresthill, California. Located at a close friend’s cabin property, this location provided the perfect venue for a bohemian fall wedding.

Being close friends of Amid’s, our lead cinematographer hired out his second team to film Emmanuel and Isabella’s wedding so that he could enjoy his dear friend’s big day as a guest. Merely guiding the vision for the wedding film, Vlad gave full rein to his second team who perfectly captured the boho fall vibes of this wedding. It was an honor to not only witness two beautiful people come together, but to also capture a film that will allow them to relive the best day of their lives over and over again. 

The day started with each couple getting ready in the comfort of their childhood homes. This provided a sentimental touch for getting ready one last time in the place that they grew up. The first look and creative shoot took place in stunning Auburn, California where we captured Northern California’s beautiful transition from Summer to Fall. Instead of reading their vows in front of all their wedding guests, the bride and groom opted to read each other their vows in private right before the wedding ceremony. We loved this unique idea so much, that we felt this would provide a great full circle to start and finish their wedding film. 

The venue for this special wedding was completely transformed to perfectly fit the couple’s vision for their big day. The ceremony took place in the backyard of the beautiful property, with stunning smoky views as a backdrop for the happy couple. The arch for the wedding ceremony was custom built by the bride’s father in honor of their special day! Surrounded by those nearest and dearest, Emmanuel and Isabella began their journey into married life. The reception took place in front of the property with romantic string lights and a beautiful boho set up for the sweet heart table. Filled with speeches, games, and performances by loved one’s including the bride’s mom, it was the perfect night to celebrate the love of two childhood friends.
