Even in the midst of a quarantine, pandemic, and a wildfire, this bride and groom decided on forever at the beautiful Mountain Shadows Retreat in Foresthill, California. Overlooking the American River Canyon and surrounded by rolling forest hills, this venue provided the perfect setting for a private, outdoor wedding celebrating the start of a new journey. Outdoor weddings are a favorite of ours, especially when the view is of stunning hills of greenery. Though the wedding took place during a wildfire, the smoke served as a moody backdrop to the already breathtaking view provided by this private estate. Standing on a deck, overlooking beautiful Foresthill, Dmytro and Maria said I do in front of their closest family and friends. With lots of love and laughter, the wedding reception was filled with toasts, games, and performances by loved ones. Our absolute favorite moment from the wedding was the bride and groom’s first dance. Underneath beautiful string lights with bubbles blown all around them, Dmytro and Maria shared their first dance as husband and wife. There is always so much emotion shared in such an intimate moment and as wedding videographers, it is our goal to capture that emotion so that our couples can re-live those moments every time they watch their wedding film. The night ended with more celebration and dancing with all the guests. Our second day shoot was filmed in beautiful Lake Tahoe which served as the perfect scenery for our creative session. The stunning views of the lake, mountain, and forest perfectly blended into the shots captured on their wedding day. It was a privilege capturing this amazing wedding for this beautiful couple and we hope you enjoy this breathtaking outdoor wedding film at Mountain Shadows Retreat....

We love small, intimate weddings. An unique venue surrounded by your nearest and dearest makes for an incredibly intimate moment shared between the bride, groom and guests- and this is exactly how Volodymyr and Olga wanted it. Outside Sienna Restaurant is a beautiful outdoor seating area that was transformed for the ceremony and reception. Exchanging vows in front of their closest family and friends, the couple became husband and wife amidst the beautiful, golden El Dorado hills. As wedding videographers, we are always excited to capture all forms of weddings ranging from big celebrations to small romantic dinners. Small weddings, however, hold a special place in our hearts as we get to capture the intimacy and romance shared between the couple and the people who truly mean the most to them. It was immensely clear to see the true love shared between Volodymyr and Olga and it was an absolute honor to be a part of their journey into marriage. The reception was filled with games, singing, and a lot of dancing. Surprising the bride and all of their guests, the groom sang a beautiful love song to his new wife leaving everyone at the reception in absolute awe. We loved this detail so much that we made his performance our introduction in their cinematic short film! Ending the night with a sparkler send off, Volodymyr and Olga made their grand exit into married life under twinkling hanging lights. The next day, we arranged a second day shoot in beautiful Napa Valley. At the stunning Castello di Amorosa, we captured incredible footage that perfectly added a whimsical, enchanted feeling to their wedding film. Greeted with peacocks and a breathtaking castle view, the aerial footage shot on our drone made for the perfect touch to end the shoot. This wedding was a lot of fun to edit and gave us videographers the opportunity to step out of our comfort zones to create a unique cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy this intimate Sienna Restaurant wedding video celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Ignato....
